Moderate Disability

I would describe Carla's disability as moderate because she is able to do almost everything that a person without a disability could do. She went to school, she moved into her own apartment because she is independent and she even got married. Two supports that she needs in her environment are her family and Daniel. Her family has always been supportive in whatever she wants to do, even when her mom wasn't so sure, someone was always supporting Carla and her wishes and dreams. Daniel is another support that Carla needs in her environment. Daniel was the love of her life and he supported her in any and everything that Carla did. He was always right behind her and since they both had a disability, they had a mutual understanding of each other. They both knew how hard things were for the other so they worked so well together. Both of these supports would be best used in any environment that Carla is exposed to.
