Looking through these statistics, I can't help but to get a little fire inside my heart to make a difference and push ALL students within my classroom. Once my students walk through that door, it does not matter your race, family income, background. What matters is how they learn, how I can change my teaching to help them succeed, and how I can encourage and challenge them to make the difference once they leave! I might be preaching to the choir but I truly believe this is the way all educators should be; driven and determined.
