Post #2: The Other Sister

In my opinion I would classify Carla as having a moderate disability. Even though it is obvious that Carla has some sort of disability she is still able to go to school and learn in a classroom setting just like other kids. Carla is also more than capable of passing her exams in her classes and living in an apartment by herself. Two supports that Carla needs in her environment would have to be her family and Daniel. Carla's family has always been a huge support system for her, even when her mother couldn't see past her disability someone in her family whether it be her father or her sisters were there supporting her dreams every step of the way. Daniel is another VERY important support system that Carla needs in her environment. I think Daniel and Carla understood each other because they both had a disability and they could help each other through hardships because they had that mutual understanding. You could see in the movie that they both truly loved each other and supported each other's dreams. I feel that these two supports would help Carla to succeed in any environment that she was exposed too.
