Post #4 Reflection of the movie in my own opinion
The movie The Other Sister is a movie that I've never heard of until last week in class. As soon as I got out of class, I was determined to finish it. I went straight to my dorm room and finished watching it. This movie teaches all of us that no matter what ever may be wrong with us, disability or not, all things are possible. Carla taught me that independence is a major role that we all need to take more pride in whether if we may have a disability or not. Carla's mind was set on her love for Danny, and nothing stopped her, not even her mother. She taught herself to adapt to others in a way that she felt socially accepted and was able to do anything and everything she set her mind to. I really enjoyed this movie and I will recommend it to others who have not seen it. :-)
