After watching this film I was truly inspired by the overall meaning of it. I thought that the concept of the film was absolutely amazing. The movie showed a young girl who never let her disability define who she was as a person and never stopped her from achieving her dreams. Carla overcame any obstacle that was in her path with ease which is something we can all relate too. Many people doubted Carla's ability to succeed in a regular school but she worked hard at it and overcame people's judgments. Her mother doubted almost everything that Carla wanted to do, her mother didn't think that she could succeed in school and she didn't think that Carla could live independently but Carla never let that stop her from reaching her goals. I think we could all take away some very important life lessons from the film. I truly enjoyed watching it and would recommend it to anyone, it was definitely an emotional movie so make sure you come prepared and have a box of tissues sitting next to you though.

I love your line, "The movie showed a young girl who never let her disability define who she was as a person and never stopped her from achieving her dreams." It makes me think about what do I let define me!!
