The disability that Carla has is a mild disability. The way she interacted with others showed that she was fully capable of understanding she just had difficulties responding in appropriate manner. She is able to live on her own and make her decisions, she needs a little support and extra help along the way. Carla's dad was a big supporter that helped her function in her environment in my opinion. I feel as if where her mother wasn't understanding that her father stepped up and had to accept the terms of her disability to be there for Carla. Another supporter was Danny, while his disability was a little worse than hers they both loved and supported one another.
