The movie "The Other Sister" said a lot to me. I believe that even the title to this movie speaks a lot. In my opinion this movie is entitled "The Other Sister" because Carla is pushed aside sometimes by the rest of her family. Carla's family believes that Carla is incapable of doing anything on her own or making any decisions for herself. Her two sisters have gone on and lived normal lives. One of her sisters even is engaged. Carla got sent to a school for special needs kids for 10 years and I believe that during that time Carla's parents just focused on the children that they had at home with them at the time which was Carla's two other sisters. That is how I believe she became known as "The Other Sister" because she was the different sister who needed special attention and was considered to be different compared to her other sibling's.
